Configure OpenVAS
The OpenVAS Scanner on CollectorsV4
This article explains how to configure a simple OpenVAS’s Task that can be used by SGBox to launch a network scan.
Requirements:
- OpenVAS must be installed
Connect to OpenVAS web interface on port 4000.

From Scans menu, select Tasks
Click on New Task
- Choose a name for the Task.
- Select Localhost as Scan Target ( It’ll be changed with the correct scan target by SGBox when the scan is lauched).
- Choose a Scan Config ( in our case we use Full and Fast config ).
The new scan will appear in the list
